Hit a 2-run
homerun in the 5th inning to help the Outlaws defeat the Franklin
Township Red Sox 13-4 in Game #1 of the American League playoffs.
7/11:
Had 3 hits and 2
doubles
as the Outlaws came from behind to defeat the Franklin Township
Hurricanes 5-4.
6/21:
Jake hit a 3-run
double to lead the Outlaws to a 10-2 victory against Towamensing.
6/1:
Jake hit his first triple of the year as the Outlaws defeated the
Patriots 11-5.
5/29:
In his return to
the mound, Jake pitched 7 2/3 innings against Hazleton striking out 9.
However, Jake took the hard-luck loss as the Outlaws fell 5-4 in
extras.
2/27:
Jake will be
able to return to the Outlaws for the 2010 season.
He will be an important piece for the championship run. The Outlaws welcome him back!
2008
Jake threw the first complete game shutout in the history of the
Outlaws; a 17-0 victory against the Bushkill Minutemen.
Was named the
MVP of the 2008 17-18 All Star Game.
6/7:
Jake hit a walk-off single against Allen Township to lift the Outlaws
to a 6-5 come-from-behind victory.
Jake picked up his first career win with the Outlaws; a 4-3 victory
against Lower Nazareth on May 24, 2008. He struck out 8 and
walked 0 while pitching into the 7th inning. He also contributed
an RBI triple during the game.
Jake hit the
first grand slam in Outlaws history on May 31, 2008 against
McAdoo/Weatherly. He would finish the game with 5 rbi's as the
Outlaws won 21-4.
