Thursday, May 28: Away vs. Forks Township

   Jim Redington pitched a complete game and the Outlaws offense came alive as they downed Forks Township 13-4 to start the season 2-0.

   In his first start of the season and his first game played with the Outlaws, Redington pitched well; limiting Forks to 4 runs on 6 hits while striking out 1 and walking 2 in the complete game victory. 

    The Outlaws offense was keyed by a solid effort from all players.  Taylor Weinman and Rick Orengo both doubled and drove in a run in the 2th as the Outlaws built a 6-0 lead.  

   Paul Luongo's 2-run double helped key a 6-run 5th inning as the Outlaws pulled away in the late going.

   Justin Rodriguez went 3-4 and scored 2 runs with an rbi.  Jon Mandile reached base 3 times and scored 2 runs as well.  Donnie Pietrafesa, filling in at catcher, also scored 2 runs.
