     Outlaws 13     Towamensing 1

  The Outlaws rebounded from last night's defeat to knock-off the Towamensing Yankees 13-1.  Rick Orengo (2-1) pitched his 2nd complete game of the season for his 2nd victory.

  The offense was led by Aaron Rushin's 3-run homerun in the bottom of the 5th as the Outlaws blew open a tight game with 8 runs in the inning.

  The Outlaws fell behind in the 1st to put Orengo in a 1-0 hole.  But the Outlaws got that run back in the bottom of the 1st.  Joe Abuiso led off with a walk and reached 2nd on a passed ball.  After a steal of 3rd, he would score on a passed ball to tie the score at 1.

  In the bottom of the 3rd, the Outlaws would take the lead for good.  Justin Slager led off with a walk and promptly stole 2nd.  Brian Archibald sacrificed him to 3rd.  Slager would score on an RBI single to right by Abuiso to give the Outlaws a 2-1 lead.

  In the bottom of the 4th, the Outlaws would tack on another run.  Rushin was hit by a pitch and would score on an RBI double by Orengo giving the Outlaws a 3-1 lead.

  The Outlaws would break the game open in the bottom of the 5th.  Abuiso (who finished the game 2-3) led off with his second single of the day.  Scott Price and Brandon Denninger were hit by pitches to load the bases.  Dylan Denninger then followed with a 2-run single to center and a 5-1 Outlaws lead.

  Aaron Rushin provided the big blow of the night with a towering 3-run homerun and an 8-1 Outlaws lead.  However, after the homerun, the Outlaws weren't finished in the inning.  Randy Lloyd was hit and reached 2nd on a passed ball.  Chris Newhook followed with an RBI single plating Lloyd to up the lead to 9-1.  On the play at the plate, Newhook alertly reached 2nd.  He would score on an RBI single by Archibald.  Archibald would reach 2nd on a passed ball and would score on an RBI single by Joe Abuiso and an 11-1 Outlaws lead.

  The Outlaws would tack on 2 more runs in the bottom of the 6th to close the game out for a 13-1 victory.

  Orengo would only allow 3 hits and 1 unearned run in striking out 4 and walking none in the complete game victory.
